Overview
Opulent Chauffeur Services (“Opulent,” “we,” “us”) provides luxury chauffeured transportation booked through our website and mobile apps. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to opulentchauffeurservices.com, the Opulent customer app, and any related booking channel.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, request a quote, or book a ride:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Pickup and drop-off addresses, flight or vessel details for airport/seaport transfers, and trip preferences (passenger count, child seat, additional stops)
- Payment card details, processed and stored directly by our payment processor, Stripe — we do not receive or store your full card number
- Billing address, for corporate accounts and invoicing
- Communications you send us, such as support requests or special instructions for your chauffeur
We also automatically collect limited technical information — such as device type and general location derived from an address you enter — needed to calculate routes, fares, and estimated arrival times.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and fulfill your reservation, including dispatching a chauffeur and calculating fare
- To send booking confirmations, trip status updates, and receipts by email or push notification
- To process payments, refunds, and — for corporate accounts — recurring invoices
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- To maintain the safety and security of our service, including chauffeur verification and trip tracking
- To improve our routes, pricing, and service quality
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who We Share It With
We share personal information only with the service providers that power your booking, and only as needed to deliver it:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — our database and account infrastructure
- Resend — transactional email delivery (confirmations, receipts, trip updates)
- Google Maps Platform — address lookup, routing, and ETA calculation
- Sentry — error monitoring, so we can detect and fix problems with our website. Sentry may briefly record page interactions (with form inputs and sensitive content masked) to help us reproduce an error
- Your assigned chauffeur, who receives the trip details necessary to complete your ride (pickup/drop-off, passenger name, contact number, flight info where relevant)
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our passengers, chauffeurs, or the public.
Data Retention
We retain booking and account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to satisfy legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time; some trip records may be retained where required for financial recordkeeping.
Your Rights
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and you can opt out of non-essential communications at any time, by contacting us at contact@opulentchauffeurservices.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law; we will honor requests to the extent required.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
Our website uses only the essential cookies needed to keep your booking session and sign-in working. We also use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand overall site traffic, and error monitoring (Sentry) to detect and fix bugs. Neither is used for advertising, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including encrypted data storage and payment processing handled entirely by Stripe — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
